Ataru share gradings with Stevenage SKC due to the good venue and accessibility. Stevenage SKC are based at the Poplars Comunity Centre in Stevenage. They offer excellent instruction by Sensei Tom Peebles (3rd Dan JKA) with a large number of diversly talented black belt adults and a good base of junior grades of all ages.

Ataru SKC (KUGB), Market Drayton - Sensei Otto Blank
Ataru, Market Drayton was established in the mid 1970's by Andy Bowden and Peter Nicholson. Ataru, Market Drayton is where Sensei Thomson first began training in Shotokan Karate in 1989 under Sensei Mick Cartwright and from there he attained Nidan under Ataru's current Chief Instructor, Otto Blank.
