Ataru, Market Drayton was established in the mid 1970's by Andy Boden and Peter Nicholson. Ataru, Market Drayton is where Sensei Thomson first began training in Shotokan Karate in 1989 under Sensei Mick Cartwright and from there he attained Nidan under their current Chief Instructor, Otto Blank.
